Endocrinology, Diabetes & Longevity Center of Arizona is a state-of-the-art patient-centered medical facility established in 2005 to provide expert outpatient consultative services in endocrinology.  

EDLC of Arizona utilizes the most advanced medical technologies and focuses on you, the patient. We are committed to provide the highest quality of care and services for those eighteen years of age and older in all areas of endocrinology, metabolism, and functional medicine.

It is Arizona's premier referral center for complex endocrine cases involving hormone deficiencies or excess, diabetes, thyroid, women's and men's health, metabolic disorders, obesity and other age-related illnesses. Comprehensive care includes evaluation of hormone, vitamin, mineral, and enzyme levels with appropriate recommendations to balance body chemistry. Our goal is to guide you toward optimum health, vitality, and total well-being at any age!

About Our Providers

We pride ourselves in providing patients with caring, compassionate and attentive medical services. Our North Scottsdale endocrinology group includes physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants that take time to listen to patients and treat each patient with respect. Our medical team is experienced, well trained and ready to deliver excellent quality medical care. Our Nurse Practitioners and Medical Sonographers work in conjunction with the Medical Director to provide our patients with the best medical services.
Leeanna Peterson, FNP-C

Leeanna Peterson, FNP-C

Leeanna Peterson is a Family Nurse Practitioner that specializes in Endocrinology. She has completed extensive training under some of the top professionals within the field of Endocrinology in the Phoenix area. She understands how to recognize and treat disturbances within the Endocrine system. She treats a variety of patients with diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and sex hormone disorders. Leeaanna is very compassionate, takes the time to listen and address all her patient's concerns. She has been practicing within the field of nursing for over 20 years. Her background includes emergency medicine and critical care nursing. She obtained her Master's of Science in the Nurse Practitioner role through the Uniiversity of South Alabama, and graduated May of 2016. Her Nurse Practitioner course was an accelerated dual role, Family and Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program with focus in Emergency Medicine. She completed over 1100 clinical hours of training within the settings of endocrinology, cardiology, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, women's health, cirtical care and emergency medicine.
